What a game. A disappointing first half but it all change on the second half with united taking home the glory. Without a doubt united is doing great at the moment and tonight games just show why they're called the champions. It was an entertaining game to watch since both side really give what their have to win it. First goal was scored by Ashravin of arsenal and many chances from both sides after that but not goal conceive until the end of first half.

On the second half, united step up their game, and in the 10", a beautiful pass by Giggs for Rooney was cut down with a block from Almunia that lead to the united first goal by panelty. The panelty was converted by Rooney with a spectacular finish on the right side. The gunners dispair continue with a second goal after a freekick by Giggs and finish with an own goal by Diaby. So it united 2 and arsenal 1.

Moon rock for a wood

THE HAGUE – A treasured piece of moon rock showcased in a key Amsterdam museum is nothing but petrified wood, museum authorities said of a gift made to a former Dutch prime minister by a US envoy.

The exhibit at the Rijksmuseum, originally gifted to Willem Drees in 1969 by then US ambassador William Middendorf as a souvenir of a pathbreaking trip by three US astronauts on July 20, 1969.

Tail for a trophy

BERLIN – Visitors to a tourist attraction in Berlin have been making off with an unusual memento -- the 30 cm long tail of a Lego giraffe.

The Lego tail belongs to a six meter tall model that has stood outside the entrance to the Legoland Discovery Center on Potsdamer Platz since 2007.

UTRECHT, Netherlands - A 13-year-old Dutch girl's plans to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world were temporarily blocked on Friday when a court placed her under state supervision for two months.

Laura Dekker, who was born on her parents' boat in New Zealand and spent her first four years at sea, had intended to begin a two-year voyage on September 1 on her 8.3 meter (27 ft) yacht Guppy.

Cow alert

LONDON - The deaths of no fewer than four people after being trampled by cows in the past two months has prompted Britain's main farming union to issue a warning about the dangers of provoking the normally docile animals.

Cows can become aggressive and charge, especially when calves are present and walkers are accompanied by dogs, said the National Farmers Union (NFU).

The union and the Ramblers' Association both advise that walkers release dogs from their leads when passing through a field of cows.

It's official, the reds is back into their best. A disappointing first half with a lot of chances for goals. But that all change when the second half start with a first goal from Rooney. Its great to see the united raise up and winning the game after the 1 nil lose to Burnley early this week.

Great game, but should been more by united. So far for this first game, united is doing okay and if this carry on rest assure that the title will stay at old trafford.

Let's go to the technical, it seems the united defender is still not to their standard with ferdinand and vidic out for injury. The two shot from the opponent just show that Ben foster is not at the same level as van der sar but still two thumbs up for him since he save the 1 on 1 with chucho.

The score was fantastic; Rooney does a splendid finish even though it takes a kick after a header to score. But still so many chances for united that could give a different at the full time score. One that really should been a goal is the final minute after a deflection from Rooney to Owen; it’s a 1 on 1 against Hart. That would be a great preview for the new appointed no7.


Overall, great game and hopefully this will carry on throughout this season.

CHICAGO – The man who robbed a suburban Chicago bank at gunpoint last Friday looks like a hard-boiled, tough guy straight out of pulp fiction. Except for his sweatshirt, which featured a picture of Winnie the Pooh, the lovable Bear who's a classic of children's fiction.

FBI agents on Wednesday dubbed him the Winnie the Pooh Bandit and released surveillance photos from the Park Ridge bank in hopes the public might help to identify him.

BOUTTE, Louisiana – The 3-foot-long alligator on a bicyclist's shoulders was a real attention-getter. St. Charles Parish sheriff's deputies stopped the cyclist. He allegedly ran, leaving both wheels and his toothy little rider. Capt. Pat Yoes, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, said deputies booked 38-year-old Terron D. Ingram on Friday with resisting arrest, possessing drug paraphernalia, and cruelty to animals by abandonment.

Alligator Control Officer Kenny Schmill said he released the gator into the marsh near Bayou Gauche.

BERLIN, Germany - A customer shopping at a discount supermarket store in Germany found stems of a poisonous weed in mixed salad bags, triggering concerns about potential health risks, the store said.

Traces of senecio vulgaris or common groundsel, that can cause extensive liver damage if ingested in large amounts, were discovered by a customer with a specialized knowledge of plants in a Plus store in the northern city of Hanover.

Drunk and lost in the hotel!

WELLINGTON - An extremely drunk, naked man lost his way at a New Zealand hotel and ended up sleeping in the wrong room, forcing its female occupant to hide in the bathroom, local media reported.

The 29 year-old Australian man had gone back the hotel in the resort town of Queenstown with a woman, but got up in the night and wandered into a bedroom where a couple were sleeping.
